The Senators remembered how to play at home, as they came up big in game 3. Both teams played a solid game, Senators outshot them 29-22, but wasn't dominate in any single period. The 2nd period would have goals a plenty. The first of which was scored by Corey Perry 5 minutes in to give the Ducks a lead. But less than 30 seconds later, Mike Fisher would match for the Senators. Then, Ryan Getzlaf would get a goal two minutes later to give the Ducks a 3-2 lead. But the Senators would end strong, scoring two goals in the last 5 minutes. The first by Daniel Alfredsson and the second by Dean McAmmond. The Senators would proceed to score in the 3rd on a Volchenkov goal, and that would be the end as they won 5-3.
The Senators win one, but are still down 2-1 in the series. Game 4 is in Ottawa.
