The NHL lockout has officially cut into the season
The games have been cancelled through October 24, and more cancellations are imminent if an agreement is not reached soon.
This chops about 6 games off the schedule for most teams.
The season was scheduled to begin a week from today, but obviously that's not happening.
Many NHL players have already signed contracts to play overseas, and the prospects of even a shortened season are looking bleak.
What do you think? Will the NHL and the players come to an agreement that allows us to have some semblance of a season this year? Or will they lose another entire season to the lockout?
