Conceivably, it could be all over but the crying. The St. Louis Blues could be booking tee times as early as tomorrow morning.Five games are on tap tonight, two of them critical to the survival of teams into round two. Philadelphia played strong, as we expected, and came back within one of the Penguins, Tonight they need to even the score. Detroit has dominated Columbus and the Blue Jackets also need to win, to remain a contender. With the way Detroit has been playing, that might be tough to do, but the Blue Jackets fought hard to get into the Playoffs, look for them to come out strong, trying to stay in. IT may not be enough, as the Red Wings have been virtually flawless.
The Devils and the Hurricanes meet up for their fourth game in the series tonight, with the Devils in a one game lead, and Vancouver looks to shut the Blues right out of the playoffs in a four game sweep. It is possible it will happen, given the play of the Canucks, so this will be a game to watch.
Likewise with the San Jose Sharks, number one in Regular Season Play. They head to Anaheim with a two game deficit. However, oddly enough, these teams seem to have the home rink advantage completely mixed up, each having more success at the other's arena. Another game to watch, and look for the Sharks to finally find a way around Hiller.
