Can't we just grant the Colorado Rockies the NL Central Division Title? The Cubs and Brewers have made it pretty clear they're not interested.

One of the best stories of this season keeps rolling on as the Rockies have won their 11th straight, beating the Dodgers 10-4 Thursday night. Now for conceivably the first time ever, Rockies baseball is going to be the sports highlight during a fall Denver weekend. Broncos who? The Diamondbacks are coming to town with a 2 game lead over the Rockies so it's going to take a sweep to win the division.

San Diego still hold the Wild Card lead, but we're still good for a clusterf--- of a multiple team tie. Philadelphia, New York and Colorado are all 1 game back.

Can't let ya slack on a Friday either...

I know they've been winning like crazy, and while I have been rooting on the D-backs to win this division earlier in the month, I wouldn't mind seeing Colorado and Holliday take it from them. Just amazes me that its not only these two teams, but also the Padres all within a game...Of course we give all three of those teams playoff spots, would that mean you have to get rid of the Cubbies?

While I'll take a Cubs playoff spot ANY way we can get it ... if they lose out and STILL make it they don't deserve a spot. I suppose it's worth looking at the Tigers and Cards who both choked down the stretch but still made the World Series. A man can dream.
