Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. I don't see why Harper would come to Clemson based on how Davis and Spiller have been utilized. We should have one of the best backfields in the country, but... I blame the majority of that on Rob Spence. I was going to be one of the BIGGEST UT fan in the world if they had taken him off of our hands...
Bowers looks really good on film. He is said to be a combination of Gaines Adams and Phillip Merling which is a great combination to be...
I don't put as much stock in the recruiting rankings as most people that follow recruiting. I realize that these are high school kids that still have alot of growing up to do. I tend to wait and see how they perform on the field.

It was a great class indeed, I do wonder what Jamie Harper is thinking though. Bowden has pretty much wasted the talents of James Davis and CJ Spiller, how does he not realize that? If those two guys were on almost any other team they would both be unstoppable. Bowers looks like a stud on film, I don't get some of the crazy recruiting guru's though when they say he could play in the NFL right now. That is slightly over the top.
