The Patriots will honor the Sandy Hook shooting victims at Sunday night's game

Following the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, the NFL has asked all teams to observe a moment of silence before their respective games this week in honor of the 26 victims.

The New England Patriots will go a step above that, putting a patch on their uniforms to honor the victims.

They will also shoot off 26 flares during their moment of silence in honor of the victims of this devastating incident.
