NFL, Detroit Lions, Nick Fairley
Detroit Lions defensive lineman Nick Fairley had a bit of a reputation as a dirty player coming out of Auburn, and now, he's finding himself in trouble off the field.Barely a month after being arrested for possession of marijuana, Fairley was nabbed for drunk driving yesterday in his home state of Alabama.
From Fox10 TV in Alabama:
"According to troopers Fairley initially refused to stop for the emergency lights and sirens. When he finally pulled over, troopers said Fairley seemed impaired. The Detroit Lions defensive tackle is facing several charges including DUI, attempting to elude police, and reckless driving."
Based on the police report and the mug shot, it looks like Fairley needs to start taking things a bit more seriously. You have to wonder if Roger Goodell is going to look at this and suspend him. He doesn't look fondly on guys making the league look bad, and 2 arrests in one offseason won't bode well for Fairly.
