A lot of good stuff on the blog today.1. The NBA has to keep the Spurs out of the Finals.
2. Never, ever do this.
3. Bobby Bowden runs a tight ship at Florida. By which I mean he let's players do whatever they want.
4. Maria Sharapova now starting for the Miami Dolphins.
5. A look back at some old draft lottery moments.
A great sports night on TV. First we have the draft lottery followed by Game 1 of the Leastern Conference Finals. In regards to the draft, it seems pretty much set in stone that whoever wins it will take either Rose or Beasley. I'm a Beasley fan myself, but I can see certain teams taking Rose over Beasley. Like teams that need a point guard. That may sound idiotic, but trust me, teams are sometimes that stupid. Just ask Atlanta, who 3 years ago had no point guard and drafted Marvin Williams over Chris Paul. Ouch.
As for Game 1 tonight, I think the Pistons pull one out. Boston's eventually going to crack on the road, so why not tonight after an emotional win over the Cavs? Works for me. So bet on the Celtics, of course. Here's the open thread for you to make fun of Rip's facemask.
And then last but not least, there's a WNBA game on. Wait, what? What's the over/under for people watching that game? My guess is 1 person.
