Nightly Q: Can Atlanta Even Up The Series? (The Correct Answer Is No Yes)
A damn good day on the blog if I do say so myself. Here's what was going on.

1. Roger Clemens likes 'em young. Real young
2. Some early NFL Draft grades for you. Here. Here. And here.
3. John Daly is still incredibly awesome.
4. Karl Malone: Father of the Year.
5. Jay-Z is not a fan of DeShawn Stevenson.

Now for tonight's TV. First off, please ignore that arena football. The better stuff to be watching is, well, probably the Yankees/Tribe game and the lone NHL playoff game in all honesty. Boston should put the hurt on Atlanta after coming out slow last game, and Denver isn't worth your time. So buckle up for some baseball and hockey.

Arena football: Dallas at Philadelphia (ESPN2, 8 p.m.)

Major League Baseball: New York Yankees at Cleveland (ESPN, 7 p.m.)

NBA: Eastern Conference quarterfinals, Game 4, Boston at Atlanta (TNT, 8 p.m.); Western Conference quarterfinals, Game 4, L.A. Lakers at Denver (TNT, 10:30 p.m.)

NHL: Eastern Conference semifinals, Game 3, Montreal at Philadelphia (Versus, 7 p.m.)

Wait, the Hawks won one?  Hilarious.  That's as bad as any other higher seed losing an entire series.  The Pistons or Magic will smoke the Celtics.

And you obviously don't know the Nuggets.  They'll win in convincing fashion to save Karl's job and keep the dumbass fans emptying their wallets.  They're a 5 game club and don't you sell them short.  Although my ideal situation has a brawl so ugly that it gets Melo and AI traded, Kobe suspended for the rest of the playoffs, and Sasha Vujajic put in traction.

Would it be a safe bet if there was verison of the gif you have as your icon where the car hits Kobe, but comes back and runs him over again you would have it?

Boston cannot rebound and they sure have no interior defense when Garnett is on the bench. In fact, their rebounding is so poor that Pachulia look likes Dwight Howard right now.

Um... If Atlanta pulls this off I give the East no chance of winning the NBA Finals.  The one chance the Pistons of Celtics had was that they'd be well rested but apparently not as much as we all thought.

This is why I love playoff basketball.  You really find out the true quality of each team.  Boston is going to win this series, whether it be in 5 or 6, but they are seriously flawed.

Wow, I have never seen Garnett be blocked after his bodied spin move he always does. Josh Smith is a freak.

Don't rain on my parade, damnit!  I haven't had a chance to cheer in over a decade and I'm gonna revel in it.  Even if we are about to get our a$$es handed to us when it gets back to Boston.

Just be quiet for a few minutes.  Let me have my moment.

I can't get any of this stuff right after being a prognosticator last year. Whoever I pick, put money on the opposite team.

By the way, Doc Rivers is reminding us again that he is a horrible, horrible coach. Sure Doc, let crumbling-ankles Ray Allen guard a man who's hotter than hell. Don't double team him at all.

Everyone outside of JR Smith and Nene on the Nuggets look like they've quit on the season.  I watch the Nuggets every once in a while and have gotten a much closer look at them during this series, but I find it hard to believe that George Karl will be back next year.

Edit: Of course I say that they've quit on the season and they wake up.

Great, great, great pick for the Hawks tonight. Congratulations, Tom! Freaking tied 2-2 with the 66-16 Celtics. Unbelievable.

The Warriors showed us last year that anyone can make it happen, and they pulled off a ridiculous upset on the Mavericks... now, i don't know if the Hawks can do it now since they were down 0-2, but to come out and shut up the fans by winning 2 in a row, and make it a 3-game series, should be good enough. They came out and proved to us that the Hawks, despite below .500, can be a playoff-calibur team in the Eastern Conference. Well done. Hurt my IQ points.... but well done. The Hawks have a young, talented group of guys, and play good basketball. Hats off to Atlanta to tie the series, and definately a bright future with some playoff appearances in the near future.

i don't think the Pistons can smoke the Celtics if they are having trouble with a talented 76ers team... Joe Dumars built a long-run championship calibur team, but they don't have the endurance to win in the longterm. Too many people give them too much credit, for just winning one title. They are a strong playoff team, but not quite a title team, as the Spurs, Lakers, and Bulls have been in the last 15 years. As for the Nuggets, they have no confidence, and they don't have the mental endurance or enough basketball IQ to take down the Lakers, and thus, why they are getting creamed by L.A.

The Nuggs will have their spurts and try to force a game 5, but mentally they don't have what it takes to make a strong playoff run. They don't have the right mindset, patience, and IQ to win a title. Once they hit a team that does, such as the Spurs or Lakers, they're out quicker than a fast food drive-thru... (4-5 games).

You should have several moments, and several hours! Be proud of your team, they've won 2 more than what most people expected them to do. One hell of a club to tie a series at 2 versus the (supposably) top NBA team.

I know.  I'm just enjoying the moment while I have it.

That officiating towards the end of that game was embarrassing. Just horrible horrible stuff.  Nuggets probably should be preparing for game 5 right now instead of preparing to empty out their lockers.
