Nightly Q: Does An ALCS Rematch This Early In The Season Mean Anything?
Not a busy night at all on the tube, but some decent games nonetheless. I'm just going to pretend Arena Football will disappear if I ignore it, and instead head straight to the Red Sox battling the Tribe and their hilariously racist mascot. I mean seriously, this thing is ridiculous. I'm amazed that Chief Wahoo manages to survive every year.

Anyway, Sox/Injuns is obviously a rematch of last year's semi-epic ALCS. And I know what you're thinking: That means nothing in April. And you're correct, it means jack squat. But still, that's a chance to see two teams who could meet up again in October.

There's also some NHL Playoff action, which is always great. Even though they aren't playing tonight, I hope my Sharks are getting their damn heads straightened out after that debacle against the Flames.

Arena Football League: Chicago at Kansas City (ESPN2, 8:30 p.m.)

Major League Baseball: Boston at Cleveland (ESPN, 7 p.m.)

NHL: Western Conference quarterfinal, Game 3, Detroit at Nashville (Versus, 7:30 p.m.); Western Conference quarterfinal, Game 3, Minnesota at Colorado (Versus, 10 p.m.)

Well, it certainly allows the Indians to try and get revenge early and relieve some stress from last year... unless, the Red Sox win, then they really will be kinda bummed. The time is now to retaliate for blowing a 3-1 series lead.

Jose is going to get a cleat in an uncomfortable place if he does not get that sinker ball going.

What on Earth is going on in the Bulls-Bucks game? It's like they are both trying to lose ... but in doing so, no one is playing any defense the Bulls are scoring like the Nuggets.

Bucks and defense have never quite gone together.

Edit: Sadder yet, there's been multiple times that each of these teams have scored less than this in a game.  Ridiculous.

Bulls have 106. Ridiculous. 5 minutes to go in the 3rd.

If I've ever seen a team tanking a game ... its on display tonight.

Not that this is all that well played of a game, but I had a chance to get a decent ticket for $5 or a crappy seat for free for this game and I turned down both, and now I'm a bit disappointed.

Ramon Sessions is coming out of nowhere and developing into a decent player.  The Bucks would still be stupid to get rid of Mo Williams, but they got a nice guy off the bench now for him.

I just saw the ending of the Philly/Cleveland game and wow did the Cavs steal that game or what. The refs went to the monitor after the buzzer to determine that they called a foul with .2 left and the Cavs made both throws to get the 1 point win.

Can someone explain to me how the Indians' logo is racist? Their team name is the Indians...and it's a cartoon image of an Indian. Is there some offensive symbolism somewhere that I'm missing?

Ignorant, maybe. But I'm not making any attempt to be clever. How is it offensive? If someone called a team the "Pats", and drew an even more outrageous looking caricature of me, I wouldn't be offended in the least bit.

There's a great example, in my opinion. How is the Indians logo any more offensive than the Patriots' old logo? That guy looks equally ridiculous, in my opinion. Is it not racist because he's white? Because I've never heard anyone complain about that logo. The Patriots changed it because their uniforms looked outdated, not because anyone thought the cartoon of an old white guy was offensive.

Wait...a cartoon has a cartoonishly big nose? Oh my god...that's so hurtful.

It was about time. And don't worry if Floyd gets shelled, that will be my fault for picking the White Sox in the MLB Pick'em.

Man Gavin pitched another good one, but Jenks gave it up in the ninth, I know he is a great closer but he seems to fool around to much with curve balls instead of just throwing that gas more often, every time he gets hit its his off speed stuff, Bobby throw your gas, see Papelbon in Boston

Well Renegade once again our fine city wants to prove you right, a bunch of smucks beat the crap out of a Montreal Canadien fan after game 4, and almost killed the guythey left him for dead on the sidewalk in a pool of blood, fortunatley he survived and is back home, as for the culprits they were arrested stay tuned, now saying thay I think I could understand how America can hate us Bostonians because not for nothing these Canadien fans are so obnoxious and they want every penalty called in their favor, and every player on the habs just dives all over the place trying to draw pens
