Nightly Q: So How Will Tonight's Random Guarantee End?
Just to let all of you know, the site will be down tonight from 12am-6am EST to undergo maintenance. So, in other words, it's like every night. That's also why we've had some problems today. But by morning, the site should be faster and won't go down ever again. I guarantee it. Just like Plaxico Burress. So who knows how solid a guarantee it really is.

Speaking of guarantees, even though the Kansas/Kansas St. college basketball game isn't on national TV, you should try and watch it tonight at 8pm EST. That's because Michael Beasley and Bill Walker both guaranteed that K-State will sweep the undefeated Jayhawks at home and on the road. Good luck guys.

College men's basketball: Virginia at Maryland (ESPN, 7 p.m.); Cincinnati at West Virginia (ESPN2, 7 p.m.); Texas at Texas A&M (ESPN2, 9 p.m.)

NBA: Cleveland at Portland (ESPN, 9 p.m.)

NHL: Anaheim at Minnesota (Versus, 7 p.m.); Chicago at Colorado (Versus, 9:30 p.m.)

So far so good for the guarantee. Wildcats are playing tough. 28-26 lead in the 1st.

Quite the atmosphere.

The fact Beasley can hit threes (2 so far) is disgusting. Hard to argue with taking him first at 6'10.

Crazy game so far.  KSU is way above average on their 3FG% tonight.  Walker has been the best player, except for the stupid fouls.  As good as Beasley has looked shooting the 3, he hasn't done jack on the interior, and got away with a massive travel at the end of the half.  Foul trouble is killing KU; they must have had 5+ charges called on them in the first half.  The KSU students are pumped up, chanting "Dead Beat Daddy" every time Rush catches the ball.

Should be a good game in the 2nd half;  I have no clue how it will shake out.

Not that anyone cares, but a pretty awful call just decided the Iowa-Purdue game.

That's great, I was wondering exactly what that was. I caught the daddy part.

Man, someone tell Texas they're supposed to be playing right now.

I would have called that Kansas game, assuming and not jynxing, if K-State ends up winning. Damn sleep, why do you need it?

If Texas can get it down to single digits before half, I'd say that is an accomplishment.

Sometimes that fine is worth it. Great win for K-State and monster game from Beas-t-ley.

A bad call in the Big Ten??  Somehow I'm not surprised.

How is that for backing up your trash talk? Beasley is a monster.

I can't believe LeBron just did that again. Crap.

Things can't get much worse for the Bucks right now. 69 points tonight as a team and Royal Ivey lead the way with 17 points.  Things are going to get blown up this offseason (or they should be) in Milwaukee.

Lebron is also a monster. That was ... I'm not sure what the word is so I'll use 'greatness' in action.

When Royal Ivey (who wasn't even the 2nd best on his college team) is your leading scorer you have some serious issues.

Wow, some guy just took it in the balls 80+ feet per second as I flipped through the channels. Pretty hilarious.
