I can't even begin to tell you how much I hate reality TV. It's literally the end of civilization as we know it. Let's watch a show where people guess what dollar value is in a briefcase! You know what, let's not.

I was going to give tonight an official seal of awesomeness for the Lakers/Spurs game, but the fact that American Idol, Deal or No Deal, and Power of 10 are on officially makes tonight suck, just based on the sheer fact that at least one those shows will be on during that great NBA game.

College men's basketball: Iowa State at Kansas (ESPN, 7 p.m.); Georgia Tech at N.C. State (ESPN2, 7 p.m.)

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at San Antonio (ESPN, 9 p.m.)

Tennis: Australian Open, at Melbourne: men's and women's semifinals (ESPN2, 9:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. (live) and ESPN2, 3 p.m. (same-day tape)

How insane are the Western Conference playoffs going to be this year? Right now, Utah and Houston wouldn't even make them. The Lakers would be a 3 seed right now, and the defending champs who are winning 2/3rds of their games would be a 6 seed. Granted things will change from now and then, but its going to be complete mayhem. Every single one of those teams are legitimately good.
Too bad the East is as bad as its ever been, but at least they have one great team now.

And to make it even better they're extending the length of them too, hour long shows stretched out to an even more pointless two hours.

I am waiting on those highlights.

North Carolina once again wins by out scoring and not playing good defense. Although tonight when Lawson is on top of his game and Hansbrough is on top of his game, who needs defense? 35 and 8. 15/16 from the line. That is why he is going to be playing on the next level even though he does not have the pure talent or wide skill set.
