I was just thinking about the 2 years I spent in Rochester, MN. I thought about all the boring evenings and Weekend Afternoons and I began to evaluate why it was so boring. Now I know! Rochester, MN offered only 1 thing of interest to me, a summer league team called the Rochester Honkers. Now I grew up less then 8 miles from the Target Center, Metrodome and Civic Center(aka the Xcel Energy Center) so I could attend a Professional Sporting Event Year Round without filling my tank, oh and my Favorite Minor League Team the Saint Paul Saints as well, but being in Rochester made me feel like a distant cousin. I feel sorry now for any town/city in America without Professional sports.....My heart was lost, but now is found and I am back to my Twins, Timberwolves, Vikings and Wild with a renewed love.
