Mandatory Credit: Rob Grabowski-USA TODAY SportsThe season hasn't started yet and the Chicago Bulls have already been hit by the injury bug. Center Joakim Noah and backup guard Kirk Hinich are likely to miss the season opener against the Miami Heat next Thursday. Say it ain't so!!!! No more injuries with this team!!!!

Noah has been battling a groin injury, which seems to be an issue in Chicago these days. Bears QB Jay Cutler is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a similar, but more severe injury.

The biggest concern with this injury is how much rest is enough? Should you come back too soon, the injury can linger and impact your play all season. Noah's heart and passion on the court, along with his defense, is crucial to this team's success.

Kirk Hinrich has a concussion after being kneed in the head by teammate Erik Murphy last week. Hinrich's importance to this team cannot be downplayed. He will play a significant role in the revived second unit of the team.

The Bulls and their fans have dealt with injuries far too much the last few seasons. With Derrick Rose finally back, and looking great by the way, most people believe this team can make a deep run in the playoffs and be the team that stands between the Heat and a 3peat.

However, with the recent history of this team and injuries, there has to be a fear amongst the fan base that history may repeat itself once again.
