…but certainly the most important.   Happy Happy Birthday to my beloved Dale Jr.! I’m so sorry that I won’t be able to spend your special day with you…but I wouldn’t want to distract you before the big race tomorrow nite.

I’m excited for some Saturday nite racing action! It should be interesting to see if Cuz’n Carl and Kevin do some "brawling" out on the track. My predictions?  Hmmm…Let’s see what Ryan Newman and Juan Pablo can do…lol. (Don’t ask.)  Of course I want my Jr. to win it …but I could see another Jimmie Johnson victory.

Last weeks race in Dega….well…I just have to apologize I wasn’t there.  I’m sure Jr.’s was not the only heart broken missing Miss A .   I’ll be tailgating with all of you one of these races...

Kansas…that’s right…I haven’t given my pink review of Kansas… 4 great days of being a freaky NASCAR fan …and let me think…  yep… I was able to wear pink all 3 days I spent at the track! My fourth year at a Cup race at Kansas Speedway…and I finally saw a burnout!  2005:  Mark Martin wins… no burnout…(guess that's cuz he's old ) 2006:  Tony Stewart wins…out of gas…no burnout…no fence climbing… 2007:  The Biff wins…yeah right…whatever …again, no fuel left for burnout…  and finally a burnout … 2008:  Jimmie Johnson…oh well… I guess that’s better than Kyle or Carl.   I must say…Carl’s last lap attempt was exciting… almost as exciting as him getting shoved across the hood of the #33.  Silly boys. On the drive down to Kansas, I had predicted a Jimmie Johnson win.  And lucky for me…he was my #1 fantasy pick.  (NASCAR fantasy that is )  My Jr. doesn’t do horrible at Kansas, but usually doesn’t finish well…maybe I shouldn’t be lookin’ so HOT at those races…perhaps I’m a distraction. Anyway… Kansas Sept. 2008…it wasn’t my favorite trip down there…but it was fun.  How could it not have been…I was there…duh!

On to Charlotte!   Go Jr.!    88 in ’08! …ok…maybe 88 in ’09!
