
Hunter was named the MVP at Nike's The Opening over the summer after flashing his elite route running skills, great hands and elusiveness at the wide receiver position in front of scouts.
The 6-foot, 170-pound Texas native held offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, Texas Tech, Utah and West Virginia.
Hunter becomes Notre Dame's 21st pledge for the recruiting class of 2013, where he joins three other players at the same position.
Money Hunter, Torii Jr.'s brother, is also an FBS prospect for the class of 2013. He currently has offers from SMU, Utah and West Virginia as a safety.
