Mandatory Credit: Bob Stanton-USA TODAY SportsThe Oakland Athletics are having a pretty good season on the field, currently sitting 3 games ahead of the Rangers for first place in the AL West and tied with the Red Sox for the best record in the American League.

Off the field, however... you could say they're having some clubhouse issues.

Even beyond that, the problem is also in the visitors' clubhouse. And the umpires' locker room.

Specifically, the problem is sewage, which overflowed from the toilets due to "excessive toilet flushing," according to A's beat writer Carl Steward.

Here's Steward's breakdown of the situation.

I live close to Oakland, so I go to a fair number of A's games (mainly cause they are cheap) and every time I leave that stadium I think about what a depressing ****hole it is. Pun intended.
