Mandatory Credit: Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY SportsThe wide receiving position has been an area of contention for the Oakland Raiders for a while, and the recent reports of Denarius Moore aren't making anything better.

Moore was a rookie with the team back in 2011, and since then he’s had the same problem: maturity issues.

Offensive coordinator Greg Olson talked about Moore:

"A lot of it is going to be on Denarius. To me, it's that whole character issue, becoming a self-starter, becoming a self-motivated person, and a lot of it comes with maturity. I think he'd be the first guy to say we're constantly on top of him ... we'll just coach him up, but I think he's becoming a more mature player and a more mature person."

They’ve also said that he was a “real source of frustration” in training camp, and Dennis Allen said last year that he had too many “concentration drops.”

The good news is that Olson feels that Moore is steadily maturing and that he is coachable.

This can really be Moore’s chance to shine, so hopefully he realizes that soon and applies himself to take advantage of this opportunity.
