Perhaps even a bigger mystery than Andrew Bynum’s health is the health of Greg Oden. The former number one pick hasn’t played a game in nearly 4 years and only has a total of 82 games under his belt. Therefore, some NBA teams are taking the open, but cautious approach with the defensive minded big man.
This week, Oden will be hosting a work-out for the Heat, Pelcians, and the Kings. Last week, the Mavs and Spurs also met with Oden for a face-to-face interview. However, according to ESPN, the Heat and the Spurs appear to be the leading candidates to land the brittle big man.
Oden is still 25-years-old, and if healthy, he is easily one of the most talented centers in the game. A service, that any team in the NBA would gladly want.
