Dwight Howard will officially be wearing the purple and gold next year in la-la land. After waiting patiently for almost a full year, the Orlando Magic have hastily traded away Dwight Howard. Instead of receiving Andrew Bynum or Pau Gasol in return, they will be acquiring a bunch of raw talent and picks. The blockbuster trade involves 4 different teams. Here is who each team will be acquiring.
Sixers: Jason Richardson and Andrew Bynum
Nuggets: Andre Iguodala
Lakers: Dwight Howard
Magic: Al, Harrington, Arron Afflalo, Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless and a first round pick from each of the other teams.
The only thing that can stop this trade from happening at this point is Commissioner David Stern. He’s nixed a trade once before and he could do it again, but after all the backlash that he received from the Chris Paul trade, it's highly unlikely. So, much for the Collective Bargaining Agreement; it’s Lakers and Heat in the Finals next year.
