So, who's going to take Kansas' spot as a #1 in one of the brackets? This makes for good drama too because dudes (and now chicks...UGH!) who really don't know anything but have a microphone are sounding off. And how can you tell that they know nothing? They all miss the obvious.
The consensus among the less than bright sports media is that the team that comes out as champion of the ACC tournament will most likely get that last #1. There are even a few who think it should be Michigan, if they win the Big Ten plus 2 this weekend, but the team that they're all missing out on is Louisville. I'm telling you this: The 3 teams that look to be the top seeds right now (Arizona, Florida and Wichita St.) all want the Cardinals to get that final #1 seed. Why? If The Ville doesn't, there's a chance they're going to end up in one of those consensus #1's bracket. I'm going to tell you this right now before the brackets are even announced: Louisville will be in the Final Four this season, and they might even win the whole doggone shootin' match. Book it!
THE NBA (6-4 ATS/7-3 SU/2-8 TOTALS last night and 25-22/30-17/19-28 so far for the week)
BUTTA (no play last night and 2-1 so far for the week)
Nets (-3) over WIZARDS - The Wiz haven't been a bad b2b team at home this season (4-4 SU), but they're off an OT game in Florida last night, and I just don't think they're ready to show out for what could be an important game in the conference standings.
ALL THE REST

---Interesting game in Atlanta tonight. The Nugs postseason hopes were done a long time ago, but since Ty Lawson has been back in the lineup, they've played much better. The knocked off the Heat last night, and we'll find out how great a task that was by how Denver plays tonight. The Hawks slipped a great deal and are trying to get their feet under them again. They're in 8th place in the east right now, but what's this? The Knicks are hot on their heels. Important games for Atlanta are not usually the games when you want to be playing Atlanta. Just sayin'.

---The best game of the night looks to be in the Mountain West where they will settle their conference business for the year with another matchup between San Diego St. and New Mexico. The Lobos biggest problem for this game isn't necessarily the Aztecs. It's Boise St. The Broncos beat up New Mexico in a very physical game last night, and that might play right into the hands of San Diego St.'s defense.
---This probably isn't a stretch, but Arkansas St. has no shot tonight. They had to play 4OT's last night to dispatch Little Rock, and for their reward, they get a Georgia St. team that's not only the best in the Sun Belt but also loves to run an opponent's legs off.
That's it, folks. A long week, but exciting week is almost over. Have a great day. Be careful out there, and I'll see you tomorrow.
