Chip Kelly spurns Oregon for Philadelphia Eagles

Chip Kelly is leaving Oregon to be the new head coach of the Philadelphian Eagles, according to multiple breaking news reports, including SB Nation.Blog Photo - Oregon Football: Chip Kelly spurns Ducks, headed to Eagles

Less than two weeks ago, Kelly reportedly declined the same job opportunity to stay in Eugene for the 2013 season. He wanted full control over roster moves, and Philly wasn’t ready to give him that.

I guess things change, though.

Ducks’ offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich, who has been Kelly’s right-hand man over the last few years, is expected to take over the program now.
