He didn't have to put much thought into the decision, verbally committing just hours later.
"I just couldn't see it getting any better," Carrington said, reports Justin Hopkins of DuckTerritory.com. "The academics, the facilities were unreal, the coaches were amazing. Oregon offered everything and I almost left, but I decided not to wait. I'm a Duck and I'm happy to be a Duck.

"I always wanted an Oregon offer and they have been by to evaluate me two times," he continued. "I felt like they would offer but I wasn't sure. To get it today was a big relief. I wasn't sure I would commit, but I just knew after being here."
The 6'2", 180-pound receiver prospect is ranked No. 34 overall at his position, according to Scout.com. He becomes the fifth member of Oregon's recruiting class for 2013.
Carrington also held offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Boston College, California, Colorado, Michigan, Northwestern, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Vanderbilt, and Washington State.
