If it wasn't for Eric Cartman's introduction of the Colorado Buffaloes, Ron Cherry's old school penalty explanation during the NC State game over the weekend would have been the highlight.

I say old school, because the term 'giving him the business' had been used before in a NFL game.

'Giving him the business' needs to become a mandatory part of a referees lexicon. No more unnecessary roughness, because sometimes it just is. I expect this to be discussed thoroughly at this year's NFL and College Football rules meetings.
