Two weeks ago I was certain of two predictions heading into this MLB season -- 1) Tigers would lead the league in Runs scored and 2) Orioles would suck. Safe to say I wasn't alone with those assumptions, thus we're all feeling a little silly this morning as Baltimore sits at 6-1, atop the American League, while Detroit remains the only winless team in all of baseball.
What's going on?
Orioles 8, Rangers 1 - The formula appears to be just having fun, according the Aubrey Huff who having a silly start to the season. Four more RBIs Tuesday, brings his league leading total to 11. Brian Burress is the latest O to have an efficient day on the mound. Still confused what's happening here, but we'll just have to roll with it ...
Red Sox 5, Tigers 0 - Second shutout of the short season already for Detroit and there's no reason to think it's not going to get any worse. Gas Can Grilli had another typical outing -- 1 IP, 2 H, 3 BB, 2 ER, and Miguel Cabrera "lifted" his batting average to .100. The way this is going I wouldn't be surprised if the Fenway Hawk took out Magglio tonight. That's about all that's left ... 0-8, onward.

DBacks 10, Dodgers 5 - Not enough good things can be said about Doug Davis who pitched 6 solid innings two days before he faces surgery to help with his thyroid cancer. We obviously wish him well. Mark Reynolds continues to tear the cover off the ball, hitting his 5th and league leading home run.
Brewers 3, Reds 2 - The Johnny Cueto Show continued and he continues to dazzle -- 6.1 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 8 K. Problem is the Brewers manufactured just enough runs to stay in the game and drive in the winning run with a Richie Weeks single in the 10th. Here's what's so impressive and worth salivating over even after two starts -- 18 strikeouts vs 0 walks.
Royals 5, Yankees 2 Just as surprising as the Orioles start, Kansas City sits at 5-2 with a much more difficult schedule. Joey Gathright stole a base almost as many times as Alex Rodriguez struck out at the plate. Considering our vertical leaping stud stole three bases, that's not a good sign.
Lastly, and best of all, the Mets got Rick Roll'd yesterday and as you can plainly hear, most fans weren't pleased.
