Ozzie Guillen rips Dwyane Wade for arguing with Erik Spoelstra

When Ozzie Guillen is the voice of reason, something is dreadfully wrong

May 12, 2012; Miami, FL, USA; Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen (13) during the sixth inning against he New York Mets at Marlins Park. Mandatory Credit: Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIREEvery time Ozzie Guillen opens his mouth, he finds a way to anger a new group of people. You'd think that at some point, he'd learn. But hey, he's Ozzie Guillen. And if he ever learned his lesson, then he just wouldn't be Ozzie anymore, would he?

His latest crusade? He's calling out Dwyane Wade for arguing with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra.

The more shocking news: Ozzie's 100% right.

Well, maybe not 100%, because threatening to fight an athlete really isn't the right thing to do, but he's definitely right to call out Wade, who committed one of the cardinal sins in sports by confronting his coach in front of fans, teammates and cameras.

"I will kick his ass. Well, I won't say I'll kick his ass. They'll kick my ass because they're bigger than me, and I'm older. But I will take my chances. Some people have to understand our job."

Ummm... sorry, Ozzie, but your job isn't to critique (and threaten) athletes from other sports. Your own highly touted team is currently tied for 3rd in the NL East.

That having been said, it's a valid point. Wade's actions are unforgivable, and it's a shame that Erik Spoelstra is such a weak coach. Since the day he was hired by the Heat, he hasn't had a shred of authority on the court or in the locker room, and it's obvious to anyone who watches the way he and his players interact with each other.

If they don't win this year, it will be clear to everyone that they need a change in Miami. As noted around these parts before, perhaps it's the coach. Hey, maybe Ozzie Guillen will take the job.

The need make a change in Miami but it is not the coach who has to change. Let Wade go somewhere else and see how much the grass is greener there. I am not sure how you go into calling Spoelstra weak,  Spoelstra got into it last season with Lebron, and they that intentional bump by Lebron into Spoelstra. Yince Lebron knew Spoelstra had Riley's support, he fell into line with his coach. Not yince this year have you seen Lebron go and be defiant as he was last season.
