PGA Championship 3rd Round Live-Thread
READ MORE:

He's Tiger, so we expect as much. I know it gets a little repetitive and unnecessary to heap praise upon the greatest golfer of all-time, but yesterday's round was special. He was 6 shots off of the lead and finished 2 strokes ahead. Even for Woods, that's ridiculously impressive. Hitting the ball as well as he is, I think we might witness another run at history. So enjoy.

Steve Stricker, Brandt Snedeker, and Boo Weekley are all making solid runs this morning. Weekley has -4 round through 14, but still 7 strokes behind the lead.

As I said last night, it's time to just sit back and watch one of the best athletes and certainly the most dominant of our time.
Oh, right. There's also that John Daly fellow who's just too damn fun too watch. Still hoping a pipe dream final pairing for Sunday pits Woods and Daly. That would shatter all TV ratings records for golf.

Final pairing tees off at 2 CT. Feel free to regale in Round 3 right here.

Is this already live on CBS for you? It's not starting until 11 here.

I don't want to accidentally end up watching a tape delay like I did a couple of weeks ago.

It's on TNT right now, Jon.

They just interview Daly. This may have been tongue-in-cheek, but he said he has 4 Diet Cokes, 12 packs of cigarettes, a flint, and lighter fluid in his bag. Then he worries about golf balls and such. Oh, and he's just warming up, not practicing.

Ah, thanks. I'll put it on picture-in-picture, I have Aston Villa-Liverpool on right now.

That sounds about right for Daly. Except I'm surprised he doesn't have a stripper in there somehow as well.

I actually don't think that was toungue-in-cheek for the most part. The dude goes through at least that many diet cokes ... cigarettes might be a stretch. Gotta love that guy.

I'm sure it wasn't, but I suspect some pandering to his reputation there. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

And....I already want Jim Nantz to shut up.

I'd don't mind Nantz a. I suppose it's cool to rip on all announcers, but he's one that doesn't bother me in the least.

hahaha. That's great. Did you see him rim out twice on 18? I wonder if he did it intentionally, another excuse to quit.

She'd have to be limber, to fit in the golf bag!!

This really is no fun till Tigre starts.

And Fox baseball can't hurt.

Time to curl up with some Cheddar Gold fish, and a grape gatorade.

Big John back into the red numbers. In honor of that I'm going to curl up with some grape gatorade beer.

I didn't, but nothing about Sergio surprises me anymore. Except when he, you know, wins.
