Packers 31, Chargers 24: Brett Favre Ties Dan Marino's All Time TD Record (420)

More importantly, the Green Bay Packers are 3-0 and lead the NFC North.

(Note: I'll have some thoughts on *cough* Norv Turner *cough* tomorrow)

Back to Brett Favre and the Packers. I thought the old man was done? At least that's what a lot of you had told me. With his 3 TD passes Sunday, the gunslinger tied Dan Marino's all time TD mark of 420.

How good are the Pack? Now that Favre has a capable offense\ive line, and even more capable defense they should be able to stay in the division with this early lead. Brett can still make plays that few other quarterbacks can, and feels less inclined to force the plays hardly anyone can make. As a Bears fan I should root against the Packers always, but it's always been hard not to root for Favre to go out with one great season.

Best day as a Packers fan in a couple years.  Just an awesome day.

As a Vikings fan, i've always rooted against the Packers.  But, i have a feeling that they are in for a pretty good season.  Their running game is almost nonexistant, but that doesn't seem to matter.  I just hope that Favre has one of those 3 or 4 interceptions when we play them.

I'm a little afraid of this next game because its in the dome, and you can always throw out the records when the Packers and Vikings play, but I really like how we match up with you guys.  I'm trying to contain my excitement right now though, because quite frankly, I'm stunned that we are 3-0 right now.

The one good thing about the NFC North is that all of the division games seem to always be good ones.  I can't wait.
