Pacman Is Ready To Make It Rain In Dallas
READ MORE:
This is awesome. It's finally happened. Pacman is headed to Dallas to join T.O., Tank Johnson, Romo and Yoko-Romo. Obviously, that's an incredible recipe for success. Anyway, this is all according to ESPN - which employs Chris Mortensen - which means there's a 42% chance none of this is true.

Dallas will reportedly send its fourth-round pick in Saturday's draft to the Titans for Jones. That sounds like a steal if you're Dallas, until Pacman gets into his annual strip club shoot-a-thon in week 4 of the season.

All I know is this, I'll DEFINITELY get my popcorn ready for this next season.

Weigh in with your thoughts below - such as how long Pacman will be in town for, how many strip clubs he'll attend, and how many people his posse will shoot.

I am not even going to read all of that nonsense. Live in the past and beat your chest all you want about your five superbowl rings. The simple fact is you guys are nowhere near a championship caliber team. What winning has Jones done lately?? Nice way to drop in foul language too. Definite sign of intelligence. The Cowboys are desperate and embarrassed for their playoff dumps. This signing is an act of a desperate team.

I'm surprised that this trade happened, I didn't think they'd do it.   Considering they only gave up a 4th rounder, it makes football sense.  But he still has to behave, and get reinstated too.

They also have to give up a 6th rounder next season if Pacman is reinstated this season and plays a certain length of time on the field this season.  BUT, if he is not reinstated this season- the Titans must give up their 4th rounder next season to the Cowboys.... It's really a smart football move. I think the risk may be less than the reward at this point after considering the options. Dallas needs a CB as well as a production return man- Pacman is that man if he keeps his nose clean.

Vegas currently has an over/under of him sticking around at Week 10.

I'll go over........barely.

I think he will stick around alot longer. Most people don't realize that Dallas has a pretty good history at turning "troubled" players around- including Charles Haley, Deion Sanders, Terrell Owens; and most recently Tank Johnson. Deny it if you like- its cool- but if he works out with the Cowboys- look out- he is a very explosive player. If he doesn't work out- trust me- Jerry Jones will cut him faster than a Thanksgiving Day Turkey. He will not allow a player to disrupt his teams chemistry- just ask Antonio Bryant!

I actually agree with you. I was just being facetious. I think it's a damn good deal for the Cowboys. You give up a 4th round pick - nothing huge - and you get an impact player who hopefully realizes he can't be a jackass anymore. If he is, and they get rid of him, they don't lose very much.

I think Pac-Man  will do well in Dallas.  It's not like there are any strip clubs there or anything.

I'm not trying to be a prick, because I agree with what you stated, but they also have a good history with getting players INTO trouble. Nate Newton, Michael Irvin, etc. But for the most part, Jerry Jones has done a better job of helping misguided guys than turning guys into trouble.

I'm all for Pacman Jones getting this chance. As someone who believes he's a great citizen to the country, it's a little annoying to know that because I don't run a 4.3 40 I won't be given 6th and 7th chances should it ever come to that, but that a grudge fans will always hold over athletes. I might as well get over it.

This a joke. Skeletor (Jerry Jones) is a buffon. The Cowboys have a glass jaw and show it every time they get to the playoffs. What they need is a proven veteran that can handle pressure and not wither under pressure. They also need a positive person in the locker room, not all of the drama queens. Romo is nothing more than a Jeff Garcia Part II. Prancing around in the pocket and throws with terrible mechanics. Barber III, not really proven. I mean I could go on and on with the question marks that they have why make another one? Dallas, if they even make the playoffs, will be one and done again. They like names over real talent and drama and headlines or character and chemistry. I don't like the Cowboys, so bravo.

Your delusional dude . 1. Jerry Jones is a great owner who puts winning first. 2. Our recent glass jaw in the playoffs dont mean anything in the grand scheme of things. We got 5 superbowls, have the most playoff victorys in the history of the nfl. If you call that a glass jaw, then ill take it. 2. Romo had a HUGE season, set all kinds of franchise records. Call it poor mechanics or whtever else you want. As long as he gets it done on the feild, who really cares how he gets it done. 3. Barber has more then proven himself one of the toughest people to bring down in the nfl. He's explosive can cut on a dime, and can take the big hit too. Dont believe me, go back and watch the pats game when he stiff armed seven of them into the dirt. By the way, how is adding a potential probowl player to your roster EVER a bad thing? Please dont pretend in your deliusional hatred that this in any way could hurt the 'boys. He cleans his act, he helps us win a few games, and itll be seen as a great deal. He gets into trouble, you cut him, get your draft pick back and its over. The reward is way huge compaired to the risk. Btw, real smart to start calling the playoffs before the drafts even over.  NAmes over talent? Thats the funniest part. You think guys like Barber III, Miles Austin, Sam Hurd, Tony Romo, Columbo, Witten, TO, Gurode,  Hamlin, newman, ware, burrnett sre just names? Guys with no talent. LEmme explain a simple fact for you here jackass, you dont get to be the number one seed in the NFC by being a bunch of no talent names. Its obvious you dont like the cowboys, and i can deal with that. It's also apparent you have no clue whatsoever what your talking about, and that i cant.

Who will get more press next season in the big D? TO or Pacman?

Trading for Pac-Man is not desperate; it's disgusting, sleazy, and offensive.  The other "character issues" spoken of here with other former Cowpoke players aren't exactly the same.  Pac-Man is a VIOLENT career criminal with a creepy sex addiction.  Terrell Owens and Deion Sanders are merely attention-whore brats and Previous players with DUI's or who were drug-smokers shouldn't be your measuring stick in Big D.  When Pac Man goes to strip bars, he is involved in shooting someone (Vegas) or a woman is going to get punched out (Atlanta) or he is going to do something stupid leaving the strip bar (Chattanooga).  You Dallas/Jerry Jones apologists above can't justify trading for a violent career criminal.  Stop trying.

Boy sounds like you are still Butt-Hurt because we picked up Pro Bowler Ken Hamlin from your SeaGals!! LOL   I do believe that Dallas set an NFL record with 13 Pro Bowlers last season and a 13-3 NFC BEST record. Not bad for a team that chooses names over real talent- the only "name" we have on the current roster is Terrell Owens- most of the rest of the roster were drafted (hence the Cowboys being the 2ND youngest team in the NFL). Good luck next season- we will see you in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day- BTW- bring that NO TALENT running back with you- you know the "name" right????  Mr. Julius Jones right????

See, I love how the cowboy haters love to dip into the past to point out the negative, and then when someone smacks you down, we're living in the past.  Like i said, its apparent you dont know anything about what your talking about.

What did I say about dipping into the past??? Nothing. You certainly weren't the one that smacked me down. Dude, you are giving Cowboy fans a bad name.

My bottom feels fine. Thanks for your concern though. I was bummed that Hamlin went to the Cowboys, however Deion Grant and Brain Russell are both better than him. The Seahawks knew what they were doing. Wow 13-3 record impressive, how far did they get in the playoffs??  When was their last playoff win? OUCH. No heart no playoff wins. Jones, who is not a name, rode your bench. Names like Owens, Johnson (Tank), Glenn, Williams, on and on. Yes we will play on Thanksgiving and it will be a safe assumption that Seattle will be on the winning end. You have to admit character means nothing on this team. That is the main reason they will never win a game of any meaning (playoffs or Superbowl).

And I quote  "Live in the past and beat your chest all you want about your five superbowl rings." Care to take that back? Tell me agian, how far did the Seahawks make it into the playoffs? Seems to me they didnt make it any further then the cowboys. Ouch? The only thing hurting there is my mind trying to wrap around how incredibly stupid everything you've said is. You wanna talk about choking in big games, how bout the choke fest the hawks had a few years back? Mabey you guys should focus more on getting a capable reciever and someone who can carry the football. If you honestly think Junkie has got anything left in the tank, ur delusional. Plus the guy is injury prone. Comeon, thats the best list you got? Last time i checked, what happens off the feild in their time off doesnt mean crap on the feild. TO? Sure, he wanted to get paid, and things went from bad to worse. Comes to dallas and comes in second in yards in the NFC, first in TD's(you know, the things that win games for you), and 2nd in yac. Hmmm....ill take that. And your a damn liar if you say you wont. Glenn has been the perfect teammate since coming to dallas, and has had a couple of great seasons, with and without TO. Williams? ARE YOU KIDDING? another proof that you dont know jack about what your talking about. Williams has NEVER had an off the feild issue. Sure, sometimes he makes a dirty tackle, but lets not forget they JUST outlawed it, and old habits die hard.  He has actually been one of the model teammates and an upstanding member of the community. The judge is still out on Tank, but havent had his name in the news since coming to dallas. Sounds like a win to me. As for thanksgiving, bring it on. Sure, you've got a good d....but youve got no running game and no recievers(yet). Ware and crew are licking their lips. Im not going to call anything that far down the road, cause im not stupid enough too(with the way injury's go and teams play up/down to their potential) but we're the second biggest name in the NFC right now next to the giants....

Tank is a NAME??? Gimme a break!! Williams??? Christ, we drafted him- how is that searching for a name??? Terry Glenn?? He's been a Cowboys for what 4 years now- yeah- big name there too? Show me some "bad character" on this current team please- these guys pasts mean nothing if they are "ultimate team players " now does it??? Btw 13-3 in the NFC East is alot harder to do than 10-6 in the NFC West and any fool would know that..... See ya on Turkey Day!! BTW- I'll bet you that it ain't a Seahawk getting the Galloping Turkey Award- you game??? Oops almost forgot- Julius Jones did not ride the bench in Dallas last season- he actually started every game excluding the playoff game- get your facts straight next time before you bring a knife to a gun fight please!!!

Take what back, Vindog. I am pretty sure the Seahawks won a playoff game last year,  the year before that and the year before that one too. You guys drafted Tank Johnson?? Huh, I thought it was the Bears. I could care less if Jones started every game, he carried the ball 164 times. For a "starting" running back that is nothing. I haven't heard the NFC West jokes before either so I give you points for being original. The division is better than the AFC West, NFC South and AFC East. We beat the NFC East teams that we played so that is a weak statement. I also don't care about some Turkey Award, the win is more important and that is what we will get. So I hope my facts are "straight" enough for you. Poor argument brother.

Pasts dont win games. Td's win games. Btw,learn to read. He said Dallas drafted williams, not tank. Btw, coming from two guys that watched every down of every dallas game, Julius is nothing to be bragging or hoping for. THe guy cant make it past the first tackler, cant pass protect, and cant cut back for crap. Your the only one with a "poor arguments", its just sad you cant realize that.

I am not happy we the have Julius Jones, I think he is average at best. Cowboys fans are the ones that are "bragging and hoping for" things that aren't going to happen. I apologize for the fact that I mis-read the comment, but the fact remains personalities and character do effect a team, "its just sad that you cant realize that." TD's do win games, thanks for pointing out the obvious. At least you got that right.

I'll bet you that "Our Jones (Felix)" does better than "Your Jones" (Julius) this season.   LOL
