Paul Pierce threw down one of the better dunks you'll see this year last night against the Toronto Raptors, absolutely crushing Chris Bosh's face with a tomahawk jam. However, in what is becoming all too normal for the Celtics, he also acted like a huge jackass.

See, as Pierce went up for the jam, he kneed Bosh in the nuts, who crumpled to the ground. The knee was unintentional, of course, but Pierce staring down a writhing Bosh, was not. Unfortunately, no Raptors player decided to level Pierce for doing that. Makes me think Bosh probably won't want to remain a Raptor with teammates like that when 2010 rolls around.

But anyway, this Celtics team is starting to get seriously annoying. I enjoyed watching them beat the Lakers in the NBA Finals two years ago, but a lot has changed in two years. Kevin Garnett has cemented his rep as the being the biggest dickhead in the NBA (and the most overpaid role player ever), Rasheed Wallace is of course Rasheed Wallace, and Paul Pierce's "I'm the best player in the NBA" act - when he's clearly not - is just getting grating at this point. Seriously, this team is about as classless as you can possibly be. I honestly wouldn't even mind seeing the Lakers take down the Celtics this year......and I hate the Lakers.

Got no idea about nads.. Im wrong gender my friend..but Im certain Lebron would more than hold his own against Pierce ..we will see who goes down when Cavs play Celtics again.. aint no luv lost between these 2 teams.. Lebron is close friends with Bosh too and maybe some pay back is forth coming

 chris bosh shouldn't have jumped....i would've victimized chris the same way...it wasn't intentional to get kicked in the groin...wrong place at the wrong time....that's basketball baby!!!....

You brought up nads first, it's just common knowledge that 90 % of NBA players still have there nads. Lebron is a great player but that doesn't mean he is immune from getting kicked in the NADS by Paul Pierce. Fun stuff!!!!

I don't agree that Garnett is a role player, though at his age he kight be turning into one, but everything else in your article, I absolutely agree with. Pierce has always been a jackass, and always will be. I'm surprised he didn't throw up another gang sign.

Sorry about that. Basically, he threw Kirk Hinrich into a scorer's table, almost fishhooked Brad Miller, and then tried to fight Chris Paul earlier this year.

I understand your frustration, but that's on Rasho Nesterovic. He should have drawn the foul or stop Pierce. Bosh shouldn't have to rotate(a second late) to stop the dunk.

I agree.  If they would have been playing the Pistons (Lambeer, Thomas, Rodman, Johnson), Pierce definitely would have been the next play!   I usually don't believe in an eye for an eye; however, I love and respect men's  'parts'. So, I take it personal when a man gets meat-checked, lol!

I agree. Although I feel kneeing him in the groin was unintentional, it was his actions afterwards that make him deserve a fine.  He didn't offer apologies or even try to help, just stared at him with that 'I'm the man'  look. I would like to think he's better than that.

Paul Pierce is a baller through and through. Gives slow guys like me hope hehe. But let's face it...he was an absolute douche tonight. Bosh would have made sure that dunk was disrupted had he not been meat-checked. If I was JC, Barngani, or any of them, I would've clocked some Truth into Pierce. Feel ya on the Laker sentiment. Watching the C's beat up on em' was a treat.

Okay, I'm female, but I crossed my legs after seeing that hit.  I sincerely hope Bosh has no permanent injury, but honestly, I can't see how he wouldn't.   No Paul Pierce fan here
