Watching this highlight makes me jealous of Philly fans for a change. No, it's not the game-winning clutchness of Phillies third baseman Pedro Feliz. It's that you have the privilege of listening to Harry Kalas call your games. He can sensationalize a balk with those pipes, so when the Phillies come back from 3-0 in the bottom of the 9th this highlight feels destined for the hall of fame.
Notice on this play the Phils third base coach has both hands raised. Geoff Jenkins isn't exactly fleet of foot, but somehow made it under the tag (according to the ump) from 1st on this walk off double from Feliz. Philly gets to witness an opponents blown save for a change. 4-3 Phillies.

Cubs 9, Reds 5 - You'd think us Cubs fans would be a little freaked out this morning by what appears to be another extended absence for our $135 million man. Nope. And frankly, I'm sort of happy Alfonso Soriano injured himself on that ridiculous hop catch he does. Take a seat until the weather gets warmer. Until then, the lineup is sadly better without Alfonso.
Red Sox 5, Indians 3 - Oh, dear. Second blown 9th inning in two nights for the Cleveland pen. It was Jensen Lewis' turn. Jason Varitek with a pinch-hit two-run game winning homer.
DBacks 8, Giants 2 Micah Owings is now 3-0. With the way he's pitching, that's a sick 1-2-3 in the desert. No wonder they've got an MLB-best 10-4 record.
Tigers 6, Twins 5 Do my eyes deceive me? Is that two come from behind wins for the Tigs in a row? Yes, sir. Even with a classic Todd Jones heart attack save. The Tigers are back!
You know what's funny to me. Everyone has been talking about how horrible the Tigers are so far (and rightfully so) but the Indians were expected to be just as good (if not better) and yet they have only one more win than the Tigers. Don't hear many people talking about that.

It probably has to do more with our fascination with runs as opposed to pitching. You are right though.
And I would like to say its more of the Twins bullpen, who supposedly should be as dominant as they have been in years past, losing the games rather than Detroit winning them.

That's true too. But the Tigers pitching didn't exactly dominate so there were multiple opportunities for the Twins to sneak in and take it, they just couldn't pull it off.
It says a lot to me that the Indians pitching allowed 13 runs tonight though. Tigs coming around? I sure hope so!
