I think I think Peter King is officially in bed with the Detroit Lions.

I'm not sure what Starbucks has been putting in Peter's coffee lately, but he'd better lay off the sauce. If he's right about anything he's said thus far regarding the Lions I'LL be stunned.

King says: g. The Lions. If they're not a top-five offense this year, I'll be stunned. We're all forgetting Tatum Bell, you know. The man's averaged 4.9 yards per rush in three Denver seasons, and now he moves to the artificial turf, where his cuts will be truer and he'll be running behind a pretty good line.

What we do know is the Lions will be better than last year. We can agree on that simple fact. But 10 wins and a Top 5 offense? Does anyone here actually believe this caffeine fueled nonsense?

2	This is almost as bad as Brady Quinn charging $75 dollars an autograph. I mean come on Tatum Bell??? The only reason he was good is because he was in a Mike Shanahan system, where all they do is run the ball. I guess the Patriots will lose 14 games, Colts will go winless and Maurice Clarrett will lead the league in rushing this year too!

0	I won't be stunned if the Lions don't have a top 5 offense, but I'll be mildly surprised if they don't have a very good one. King's argument should be about Mike Martz being the offensive coordinator, not about Tatum Bell.
