Missing two offensive linemen and a wide receiver is a tough situation for any quarterback to deal with, but you'd expect Peyton to champion through with quintessential Manning efforts. Not so much for the second straight week. 16 of 32 for 163 and an interception, losing games for fantasy owners everywhere.

To his credit, he was 4-for-4 on the game winning drive. After missing his first two field goals Adam Vinatieri hit two-straight, one of which was the game winner.

Are the Colts going to struggle like this the rest of the season? No Freeney ... I think so.

Are the Colts going to struggle like this the rest of the season? No Freeney ... I think so.

Not having Freeney didn't matter at all.  The defense played great once again, it's the offense and special teams that have been so horrible the last few weeks.  These struggles offensively should go away with better health, having Ryan Diem and Tony Ugoh out has been horrible, but offense has to start playing better and Vinatieri has to stop doing his Jose Cortez impression.


It's good that they can still be in games when the offense and special teams are pathetic because of the great D play, but they can't go anywhere in the postseason with the offense/ST looking this awful.

A lot of defenses "play great" against the Chiefs offense.

Are you saying they didn't play great last week defensively?  They shut down Tomlinson, don't forget that D last week allowed 10 points and theyheld the unstoppable Pats offense to 24.  They're among the best in fewest points allowed.

My point was that the Colts defense has been playing great all season, and it's not just the Chiefs offense making them look good.
