Phil Jackson Finally Engaged to Jeanie Buss

 
Phil Jackson is making non-basketball related news for the first time.  The retired coach has finally proposed to his long-time girlfriend Jeanie Buss.   Buss recently told ESPNLA that, “I’m beyond happy.  “I really didn’t want it to be news, but I knew people who followed me on Twitter cared about it and I’ve been wearing the ring since Christmas, so I figured I should let people know.”
 
Jackson and Buss have been together since '99 and have gone through a lot of up and downs, but their relationship has withstood the test of time and even the recent drama with Phil returning as the coach of the Lakers.  Congrats to the both of them.
