As of 3 ET, not a single player is under par during the 2nd round at Oakmont Country Club.

If you enjoy watching pro's go through the same struggles you go throw on the weekend's (complete with the requisite four letter words), then you'll thoroughly enjoy the coverage.

What's even better is the course hasn't reached it's peak difficulty. I love it.

Phil Mickelson finished his 2nd round at 11-over and thought it'd be a joke if he made the cut. Considering his typically poor decision making today, he hardly deserves it. Fast forward an hour to this point, and he's right at the line.

Do you prefer birdies, eagles and low rounds or do you enjoy the US Open format?

0	The reason the US Open is the best Major is because the course is made to be so very very difficult. I love it!

0	(Edited by kantwistaye) I don't like it at all. I like giving the these golfers a challenge, but make it so they have a chance to chase someone down. Thats what made Phil's first Masters so compelling; the fact that he could chase down Els on the back nine was awesome. In the US Open these guys just go for par and hope the leaders come back down to them. I don't like that at all.
