The Colts have yet to start training camp and they've already taken a big hit. Long time offensive tackle Tarik Glenn, a huge part of that offenses' success the past few years, is deciding to retire, despite being only 31 years old.An unnamed Colt told ESPN's Chris Mortensen, "[Glenn] just feels burned out. It's that simple."
It certainly leaves a large hole on the defending champs line, as Glenn has with that team since 1997, and only missed 6 starts, each in 2003. It makes the pick of Tony Ugoh actually make sense, as the Colts apparently knew that this in the future. But even so, Ugoh is only a rookie, and if he starts right away will probably have his struggles.
This is a large hit to the Colts, and expect this line to allow more sacks than usual.
