Our weekly look at the individual AP Ballots is back again for this season. Who was the biggest homer? Who doesn't make any sense? Who actually (gasp!) deserves some credit? At this point in the season the AP poll is irrelevant, but it's still necessary to hold them accountable to some resemblance of rational voting. Which leads me to our weekly dud ...
Jon Wilner(San Jose Mercury News)
3. Missouri
4. Oklahoma
5. Georgia
6. Kansas
At this point, the only way I can rationalize Jon's ballots is that he's attempting to be this irrational. Sure Missouri has a more respectable loss in comparison to Oklahoma, but that loss comes at the hands of the Sooners. At some point you've got to start giving credit to the Jayhawks who haven't slipped up, something the Bulldogs have done twice.
Scott Wolf (LA Daily News)
6. Texas
8. Kansas
They haven't beaten a Top 25 team but they've taken care of business. Texas is ripe for a bad bowl loss.
Neal McCready (Mobile Press-Register)
25. Air Force
I didn't realize beating Notre Dame was all that impressive, but I did realize this was the only time Neal saw them play.
Adam Van Brimmer (Savannah Morning News)
22. Wisconsin
24. Illinois
Team B beats team A. Team B beats #1 team in the country, Team A lost to #1 team. Team B is ranked behind Team A. I'll never understand.
Eric Hansen (South Bend Tribune)
13. Kentucky
Bold. The highest the Wildcats are ranked from anyone by a considerable margin. I like the statement and you could make a case for UK this high despite some losses.
Molly Yanity (Seattle Post-Intelligencer)
15. Tennessee
16. Virginia
17. Boston College
18. Florida
Molly, do you really think those three teams are better than Florida? We already know one of them isn't and you have to give the SEC some respect over the ACC.

That's a great story that Sylvestor Croom has the Bulldogs in position to get a bowl bid with 6 wins, but I'm far from convinced that makes them one of the 24 best teams. It does however make Parrish popular with his readers.
Rich Kaipust (Omaha World-Herald)
1. West Virginia
2. LSU
3. Oklahoma
4. Oregon
This is only an LSU-Oregon-Kansas discussion. I don't know about you, but the team I watched last Thursday night was not the best in the country.
