Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has once again lambasted against the Madrid camp for fuelling and stoking the fire in the shape of legal issues surrounding Lionel Messi and Neymar. Pique claims jealousy from the Madrid camp was the reason behind the ugly ordeal.

Madrid media haven’t wasted an opportunity to talk ill about Barcelona. As a matter of fact they have often been at the heart of the controversy against Barcelona. Pique echoed comments made by teammate Cesc Fabregas in December last year.
“They attack us from everywhere,” Pique said. “The moment comes when you have to say: 'Enough.' There are some laws, some norms and someone who is in charge, who imparts justice. Someone must impart justice for the c*** they threw at Messi.”
Pique added that he well understood the rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona. The Spanish defender claims the heat between the two clubs was further intensified by the fact that Barcelona had won four of the past five La Liga titles.
“For Real Madrid, it is difficult to see their rival win so many things,” Pique said. “We have been seeing that for a while. It is not on.
“Things must be accepted as they are -- sometimes someone will win, other times someone else. It goes in cycles, and this cycle is Barca's. The rivalry is historical, and something is always tried so that it goes worse for the rival.”
Barcelona will face their first game of the year against Elche on January 5. Lionel Messi is expected to be in the fold once again after resting for two months. The Argentinean hit-man is aiming for a record breaking season at Real Madrid.
