Plaxico Burress Turns Himself In To Police, Does Not Limp
"Responsible Professional" Plaxico Burress Doesn't Seem To Be Limping At All

Plaxico Burress turned himself in this morning for shooting himself in the leg with an unlicensed firearm, an act which is about a 17 on the 1 to 10 scale of stupidity. You may notice that Plax isn't using any crutches and isn't limping, so it would appear that the reports that he could be playing again in two weeks are in fact true...that is of course if the Giants actually want him back. At least according to Peter King, they don't.

Now, you may also be wondering how you defend a guy who shot himself in the leg with an unlicensed firearm and then apparently lied to police about his name and where he was shot. Why, you call him a responsible professional, of course.

Yes, because if anyone's a responsible professional, it's the guy who's been fined 40-50 times in four years for missing team meetings and flaking out on treatments. Oh, and that same responsible professional also won't pay for denting up a rental car.

What an idiot. I think in the end, Plax will somehow get out of this and go back to doing what he's best known for, shooting himself in the foot. Figuratively speaking, of course.

Not only is there no limp, he's even walking with a bit of a swagger. You know... the kind of swagger that most people wouldn't have, a few days after doing something as stupid as shooting themselves in the leg.

He's walking with a swagger because he is going to somehow get away with another slap to the face of the NFL with probably a two game suspension. His lawyer will get him prob. or comm service. He will appeal his suspension they will reduce it to one game and all will be back to normal.

Again welcome to the National Felon League.

Do you think they'd maybe let him off completely if he just shot himself in the foot? Seems like an appropriate punishment.
