Playboy Wants To Avoid Future Plaxico Burress Incidents, So Here... Have A Taser.

Playboy's Celebrity Golf Tournament featured a ton of NFL players. Apparently, Playboy was hoping to help them avoid incidents like Paxico Burress' club self-shooting, so they brought in the nice folks who make Tasers, to give away some of their fine product.

Jason Bell was pretty excited about it, and picked one up for himself. Kenyatta Walker and Ryan Sims got them too, and thought it was pretty hilarious.

In all reality, though, it might not be that bad of an idea. In states where these are legal, it seems like a much better idea for athletes than carrying a gun. They are much safer, and would diffuse a situation much more easily and cleanly than most means of self-defense.

Or am I just crazy for thinking this?
