Unfortunately, there's still no grainy cell phone footage yet of Plaxico Burress shooting himself in the leg. But fortunately, thanks to the Sporting Blog, we can relive it in another way. Here's a video of a police officer giving a gun safety demonstration to a bunch of those punk kids who like guns. And guess what happens? He shoots himself in the leg, of course.
Perhaps the best thing about this video though is how, like Plaxico, our heroic policeman decides that despite the fact that he's just shot himself, now is not a good time to go to the hospital. No, he must finish his gun safety class first. Bravo sir.
Also, as long as I'm having fun at Plaxico's expense yet again, I might as well provide you with last night's Daily Show take on Plax's miscue.
I believe Stewart's message is don't try and carry a Glock in your sweats. That's sound advice everyone.
