It's official: The police have issued an arrest warrant for Aaron Hernandez
According to reports, Hernandez took several steps to obstruct the investigation of Odin Lloyd's murder, including smashing his cell phone, destroying his home surveillance system, and hiring a cleaning service to clean his home after the murder and before the police had a chance to investigate.
On their own, none of these things would be a huge problem, per se. However, all three of them happening at around the same time is not a coincidence, and police believe Hernandez was making a concerted effort to interfere with the investigation.
At this point, things could get ugly for Hernandez whether he had something to do with the murder or not. By destroying potential evidence, he's not only making himself look extremely suspicious, he's also making things extremely difficult for police, who will likely make his life pretty difficult in return.
