Do you have a story to tell of how the power of prayer has changed your life - or the life of your loved one in the military?
The Presidential Prayer Team, on behalf of Adopt Our Troops in Prayer, is preparing a proposal for a Christian publishing house that, if accepted, would result in a book about how God has used prayer…your prayers…to impact the lives of military men and women and their families.
And we'd like to perhaps include your testimony in that book.
All you have to do to share your story with us is:
- E-mail testimony@presidentialprayerteam.org, and
- In 200 words or less, describe how God has changed your life as you've prayed for our military through Adopt Our Troops. If you have a friend or loved one serving in the Armed Forces that you have registered for prayer through Adopt Our Troops, tell us how you believe the prayers of fellow AOT members has impacted his/her life. If you have adopted a Troop, or several Troops, through Adopt Our Troops and have a story of how the Lord has blessed you as you've interceded, we'd love to hear your testimony as well. Your testimony must be received by Wednesday, December 17
Once we receive your story, it will be considered for inclusion in the proposal to the publisher. If the book is later chosen for publication, we will contact you directly at the e-mail address you provided to secure permission to use your story. If you wish to remain anonymous, or for the people mentioned in your testimony to be anonymous, that's perfectly fine.
The goal of this book is simply to glorify the Lord, proclaim the power of prayer through the living examples of your testimonies, and to let others know about the ministry of Adopt Our Troops and The Presidential Prayer Team.
In two weeks, our Christmas edition of this eNewsletter will feature an excerpt from an exceptional book by a Presidential Prayer Team member whose son, a U.S. Marine, has miraculously survived three combat injuries. Her story of God's healing touch and the power of prayer will bless your holidays. Watch for it later this month.
You can go now and either register or adopt a troop - or, if you have registered a troop for prayer through Adopt Our Troops, please go online this week and provide an update on their status. It is only through the updates provided by family and friends of the registered Troop that others will be able to intercede in an informed way for the Troops enrolled in Adopt Our Troops.
