Since being selected with the #3 overall pick in the 2006 draft, Young has been the WORST passer among all regular starting QB's in the NFL. Young's 71.1 rating in 2007 was 26th in the NFL, and he was 30th in 2006 with a 66.7 rating. People may point to the Titans' improved record with Young at the helm, but knowledgeable fans know that while Young made a few electrifying plays with his speed, he certainly wasn't the reason for the turnaround. He has 22 career TD passes and 32 INT's. And despite his impressive 10 rushing TD's, he also has 11 fumbles. Coupled with a severe lack of a team-first attitude, Young isn't showing the same leadership and on-field excellence that he displayed as a Texas Longhorn en route to a national championship.
Apparently, his teammates are getting sick of it. Keith Bulluck said "I am hoping it is not a 16-week thing, but at the end of the day we want to have the No. 1 defense in the league, so if we have to play 90 snaps to get that, that's what we're going to have to do. No one is going to quit on this side of the ball."
While Bulluck doesn't specify that he's talking about Young, it's pretty obvious what he means. Bulluck is a respected veteran, in his 9th season with the Titans, and a definite team leader. If he's getting fed up with VY10, then it's definitely a bad sign.
Sorry Vince, but you're just not good enough to pull this crap. You're perilously close to forever being labeled a certified bust, whether you want to admit it or not. This Titans team will win with defense and a great running attack, with the addition of rookie Chris Johnson. You can't pass, your attitude sucks, and your team has a moderately capable backup. Better get your act together, or go the way of Ryan Leaf.
