If it wasn't already obvious why the Raiders have struggled to win lately, this should seal the deal.
The Player's Union (read: Raiders players complaining) forced the Oakland Raiders to shut their offseason workouts a weak early.
I was notified that the players' union believes our total commitment to improving our football team has resulted in some violations of rules regarding practice standards," Kiffin said in a team-issued statement Friday.
"The union has complained about the high level of intensity, player aggressiveness and fast pace of our practices and, as a result, has taken away the final week of our offseason program."
I'd be as frustrated as Lane. That's pathetic. If Kiffin is not allowing players to drink water as they did back in the day, then that's one thing, but if they are merely too challenging then there's a problem. Either get in shape so they aren't too tough, or continue with the lackluster effort on Sundays.
