Rally Monday: Cubs, Red Sox, Phillies Host Pep Rally's Along with Playoff Field
READ MORE:
MLB

Does Jimmy Rollins look ready for some prime time MLB postseason action or what? Hey when you're only the 4th member of the 20-20-20-20 club you can wear whatever hat you want.

Anyone else finding these pep rallies incredibly lame? Anyone planning on attending/or attended any of these?

Cubs had their rally early today
, which included video from all the awful memories of seasons past accompanied by a lot of lame music and standard we're going to win it this time speeches. Nice work. Really glad I didn't bother with that. Frankly, I think Wayne Messner just wanted to sing the national anthem, and that was the impetus for the whole ordeal.

Arizona Diamondbacks are holding their rally later today along with the Red Sox, Los Angeles Angels, and Cleveland Indians.

Woo, Rally, woo. My version of rally Monday involves configuring two tv sets to watch the Rockies/Padres and Monday Night Football.

I will be attending the Diamondbacks' rally later tonight, since it's right near where I live. I will post pictures.

Not going to be attending any; unless for some odd reason they hold one of those in Atlanta...No...? Meh; have class in a little bit anyways.

Well, TBS is airing the games, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did have a rally for the Braves.

So...what exactly is the TV schedule for the playoff games?

I have no idea, and I'm pissed off about that.

They still haven't announced start times for any of the games, so I don't know if I will be able to go to Games 1 & 2. Fortunately, the games are not sold out yet, but I want to know soon.

Not official but it sounds like the Ari/Chicago games this week are at 10:30 ET.

They just announced the game times for the Diamondbacks series - 7pm start times for all games in Phoenix.

I will be at Games 1 & 2

Thank goodness for the late games...even if i am EST. Classes till 10 PM every night sucks for my sports. This will help.

This is not going to help Chicagoans with any intention of getting work done Thursday or Friday morning. Then again, that might be very few people, anyway.

I took all of the above photos at the D-backs rally today. I got there a bit late since traffic was bad getting home (for some reason clouds make people in Phoenix drive slower and also crash into each other), but I still managed to get up fairly close for a while.

There's a good chance Gracey is late to Game 3 due to pre-gaming at his favorite local establishment Murphy's Bleachers.

The only players there were Orlando Hudson & Eric Byrnes. Bob Melvin was there as well.

They seemed to have a pretty good turnout, probably a few thousand. The Tempe Marketplace wasn't a great choice though - it was in a pretty narrow area. It meant that everyone was packed in, but between buildings, trees and cameras/media people, there were very few places to stand and get a good view. They did have plenty of video screens though.

Grace is a great broadcaster when he's drunk, I'm pretty sure he has pre-gamed on many occasions & will undoubtedly do so in Chicago.

At one point last night, I thought he was going to drop a couple of f-bombs while talking about how much he hates the Cubs.

I was referring to the drunk part....... Does it bother anyone that ESPN/ Mike and Mike etc are all talking about the east coast teams ( IE the Cubs) have such a late start and no one has taken into consideration that the West Coast workers will miss the first two games ?

At least all the games aren't on at the same time like we had when ESPN did the games. That was the most idiotic way to do it in my opinion. It is a shame that we don't get to see every game unless we're unemployed or retired, but I can live with that as long as I get to see every Diamondback game in these playoffs!

If not, there should be.

I was looking at tickets for game 1 on Thursday but I can't find anyone to go with me.
