Blogging the bases on Wednesday's MLB action ...
Rangers 30, Orioles 3 Of all the post game reactions, and there's been a lot, nothing tops Tim Kurkjian's squealing on Baseball Tonight. I don't blame him, there's a lot to squeal about, whether it's:
- 30 fing runs
- Texas scored those runs in only 4 innings.
- Wes Littleton got a SAVE
- Michael Young (2nd in order) drove in 0 runs. The 8th and 9th guys drove in 7 each.
- Texas broke the record for runs in a double header ... before the 1st game was over.
- The MASN cameraman zoning in on the "Watch Out for Batted Balls Sign" instead of the ball on the final home run.
That's a bad enough game to watch on TV for Oriole fans, I can't imagine being there ... or better yet STAYING there.
DBacks 3, Brewers 2 Webb's streak ended in the 1st inning off a Prince Fielder RBI-single. Just in comparison to the Rangers, Webb has allowed 31 runs in his last 18 starts.
Indians 11, Tigers 8 On any other night this would have been labeled crazy. Franklin Gutierrez proved some much needed punch.
Athletics 4, Blue Jays 1 The A's are at .500! The A's are at .500!
