Raul Ibanez had a chance to hit 2 grand slams in the 7th inning of last night's 11-6 Mariners victory over the Twins, but he "only" managed a 2-RBI single in his 2nd at bat with the bases loaded in the 7th.Ibanez finished with 3 hits, 6 RBI and 2 runs. The Mariners scored 10 runs in the 7th, and rallied from a 6-0 deficit to get the win. Jose Lopez and Adrian Beltre also each had 3 hits for the Mariners, and the Mariners' bullpen combined for 6 shutout innings, as Miguel Batista got pulled after only 3 innings.
Marlon Byrd also had a grand slam, and his was a walk-off, giving the Rangers a 9-5 win over the Yankees. Joba Chamberlain left the game in the 5th inning with stiffness in his right shoulder. Michael Young and David Murphy also homered for the Rangers. Young went 2-4 with 3 RBI, and Murphy was 2-4 with 2 RBI.
