Ray Lewis: Cheater?

Ray Lewis has often been under the microscope throughout his professional career, but recently Sports Illustrated released a report saying that Lewis used a banned substance to heal quicker and get back to the field in time for the Ravens stretch run, which has become known as the Farewell tour of Lewis who announced he would retire at the completion of this season.

Deer antler spray, the new PED on the market allows people to heal at a faster rate as it is an HGH (human growth hormone) and Lewis has completely denied use, which comes as no surprise because going into his final appearance on the field, he wants to end on a high note. However, if it were to come to light in retroactive drug testing (ala Lance Armstrong) that Ray had indeed doped, his legacy would be tainted, wouldn't it? 

Ray is no stranger to controversy as Mashable recently came out with an article that polled social media users and it was revealed that almost half relate his name with murder, referencing a disappearance of a man in 2000 following a fight with Lewis and his entourage.

The fact that the report mentions Lewis is probably enough for most individuals who scour the net for the latest sports controversy.  When your name is linked to PED's, you have most likely done something wrong. Lewis is forever tainted in my book, how about you?
