Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho seeking a way out of misery – Work and Social Life conundrums
Speculation of Jose Mourinho returning to England has risen once again. The Real Madrid manager recently revealed that he was frustrated and tired of his life in Spain. “The Special One” claims he has become a victim of stardom as of lately.
Jose Mourinho told the CNN that he missed walking down the streets without receiving any kind of special treatment. The former Porto manager also expressed concern for his family.
The 49-year-old Portuguese said that sometimes he wished to “become a person that nobody knows”. Jose Mourinho also confessed that he hated his social life.
Jose Mourinho, who became a legend at Chelsea and Inter Milan as manager, told CNN that he wanted to go to his son’s football match as a “normal father”. Jose Mourinho also admitted that sometimes his family was on the receiving end because of his job.
“If I could be a manager, a football manager, and the moment I leave the club or the moment the match finished, if I could switch off a light and become a person that nobody knows, I would do it,” Jose Mourinho said.
“Because I hate my social life. I hate my social life. I hate not to be a normal father who goes with his son to the son's football match and being there with the other 20 fathers watching the match.
“I am in a football match of kids 10-12 years old and I have to be there, the people have to come for photos, the people have to come for autographs, the people have to come to insult me, the people have to go behind the goal of my kid and insult my kid of 12 years old.”
It would be difficult for anyone to see their kids treated with harshness and insults. Clearly, Jose Mourinho is unhappy with his stay in Spain. Rumors suggest Jose Mourinho will replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
When Jose Mourinho was asked about viewing Old Trafford as his next home, the Portuguese made it clear that he had no intentions of replacing Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. Jose Mourinho vowed his loyalty to Real Madrid and expressed intentions of completing his contract with the club.
Nonetheless, many suggest Jose Mourinho will seek a way out of his contract with Real Madrid next summer. A couple of locker room bust ups and Cristiano Ronaldo’s unhappiness with Real Madrid are factors that could force Jose Mourinho to change his mind about staying in Spain.
